Tours in the Herbs

Tours through the her­bal gar­dens are given every 1st Satur­day in the mon­th from April through Sep­tem­ber at 2 p.m. Plea­se regis­ter in advance!

Reserved Tours

Tours are avail­ab­le for groups (maxi­mum 25 peop­le) if advan­ce noti­ce is given. Plea­se indi­ca­te inte­rest in par­ti­cu­lar topics. A group tour cos­ts 40€ per group (in addi­ti­on to nor­mal ticket pri­ces) and 45€ for for­eign lan­guage tours (Eng­lish or French). Tours last 1.5 – 2 hours, but can be shor­ter by request.

For a small addi­tio­nal fee your group can tas­te “Most” (a fer­men­ted cider), Hohen­lo­he “Blooz” (a savory or sweet pas­try) baked in a wood oven or try your hand at bowling.

Bird Tours

On Sunday, April 23rd. The tour starts at 9 a.m. and cos­ts 5€.
Bring a pair of bino­cu­lars and learn to iden­ti­fy nati­ve birds!


Courses for Adults

The­se cour­ses offer the oppor­tu­ni­ty to learn about his­to­ri­cal skills that once were com­mon­place and had gre­at impor­t­ance in dai­ly life, but have now been lar­ge­ly for­got­ten. Cour­ses are taught by expe­ri­en­ced docents. The Hohen­lo­he Open Air Muse­um is the per­fect loca­ti­on for such cour­ses. Learn the skills of your ances­tors! (Pre-regis­tra­ti­on is required.)
